BlueGLAS users find the program's multilingual capabilities offer significant competitive advantage over other authoring tools, which typically require separate language packages, and emphasize languages with standard Roman characters. In contrast, BlueGLAS offers the ability to create training content in multiple languages, including ideographic (such as Chinese, Japanese) and right-to-left languages (such as Arabic, Farsi, and Pashto). BlueGLAS is currently used to teach foreign languages within the US Government and at several universities. Customers also use BlueGLAS to develop and disseminate continuing education, to train users with simulations, or as a multimedia presentation tool.
